Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance so we can order the t-shirts. We require a minimum purchase of 4 T-shirts to hold this class.

  • Description

Want the freedom to design your own T-shirt?  Well now you can at one of our Design It Yourself T-shirt classes. Make a shirt for yourself, make one as a gift or make t-shirts for your bachelorette party.

In this class we will show you how to use Design Space* software to create your design. Once you've created your design, our cutting machine will cut the design into a sheet of vinyl. Next we'll show you how to weed the design from the sheet of vinyl and attach it to your shirt using our heat press machine.

Includes:

  • One T-shirt (50% Polyester, 25% Cotton, 25% Rayon)
  • One single color 9"x10" size sheet of heat transfer vinyl (HTV) for your design

You may choose to use the vinyl sheet on the front or the back of your shirt. Alternatively the sheet can be cut and a portion of it can be used on the front and a portion on the back, if you want to create designs for both sides of the shirt. If you would like to purchase additional 9"x10" sheets of HTV to create either larger designs for the front/back or a multi-color design, you may add those to your order.

You should come to class prepared with what you want your shirt to say and/or an idea of what image you may want to use. Please note: images or fonts that are copyrighted or trademarked (i.e. Disney, Star Wars, Sports Logos, etc.) cannot be used in your design.

*You will need to bring with:

A laptop or tablet with Design Space software downloaded on it. Design Space is a free software provided by Cricut. Design Space is not supported on Chromebooks, or Unix/Linux Computers. View the system requirements to ensure your device will be able to support the software. You'll download Design Space prior to coming into the studio (to ensure you can in fact install it on your device) but we will teach you how to use the software in the class.
