Children will have a blast stretching their creative muscles and we’ll be there to clean up the mess afterwards! Plus, you don’t have to spend time and money coming up with games to entertain the children or party favors for them to take home at the end.

Our Most Popular Projects for Kids Birthday Parties

Creature Catchers

Our Creature Catchers , a creative play on the traditional dream catcher, are a favorite among kids’ birthday parties. With 2 styles to choose from (unicorn or sea creature) children will be able to choose the style that most appeals to them. This project is great for children 7-10 years of age.

The birthday girl or boy can pre-select the paint, yarn, flower and pipe cleaner colors prior to the party. Alternatively, if you would like each child to be able to choose their own colors, we can create a special webpage for your event with all the available color choices. You can then send the link to the parents of all the children who have RSVP’d so that they may go online and select their own style and colors prior to the party.

Traditional Dream Catchers

Our traditional Dream Catchers are a popular craft for children 8-12 years of age. Children will choose from a selection of fabric colors during the party for their hoop and the fringe.

Large Wooden Letters

Children can paint or stain these large wooden letters in their choice of color. They’ll also choose from a selection of paper flowers and vines to attach to their letter. This project is great for children 7-11 years of age.

Make Slime!

Learn how to make 3 different types of slime (glitter slime, sticky slime and fluffy slime) in your choice of colors. Great for children 7-11 years of age.

Great for Birthday Parties for 5 Year Olds

Build Your Own Unicorn or Monster

Our Unicorn and Monster crafts are great for younger children. With 2 styles to choose from, children will be able to choose the style that most appeals to them.

While the felt flowers for the unicorn will be pre-cut prior to the party (colors pre-selected by the birthday girl or boy), children will get to choose their own colors of paint, ears, horn, hair and antenna during the party.

Paintable Tote Bags

While our paintable tote bags are very popular with children 7-10 years of age, they are also easy and fun for those as young as 5 years old. Children will place a stencil on the bag and then paint over it, making the design easy for children of all ages to create.

We have 5 different designs to choose from (not just unicorn) and we can also create custom designs. Children will get to choose their own paint and glitter colors at the party.

Length of Time for your Party

Most children’s projects take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete, but the approximate craft time is listed in each project’s description.

Age Requirements for Children

With the exception of projects utilizing power tools, we do not have a minimum age requirement that children need to be in order to work on a project. Our projects are generally recommended for ages 5 and up, however younger children are welcome to create a project with the help of a parent/guardian. Most children’s projects list a recommended age. The age that we recommend means a child of that age or older, should be able to complete the project with little to no assistance. Children under the recommended age would need assistance from a parent/guardian.
